Project 1
This project was a 2 story porch in need of renovation. Footings were non existent and first floor porch was collapsing. The client wanted separate entrances to the 1st and 2nd floor and wanted to make a sun room out of the 2nd floor enclosed porch. First floor deck had to be demolished and rebuilt and a new entrance constructed. 2nd floor was reframed, installed new windows, insulated , new sheetrock and trim and a new tile floor. Outside the old shakes were replaced with white cedar and sealed with an oil finish and lastly we painted the whole house. Challenging but enjoyable job to work on!
Project 2
This project was supposed to be a repair job that ended up with us rebuilding the whole thing! An old house with unique turned railings and posts bad sagging frame and a roof that was pulling away from the house. Once we started the demo we realized the whole thing must be rebuilt. So we demoed the porch and roof and started from scratch. Located sources to make custom turned porch posts and railing, mahogany deck, and slate roof with Copper flashing cedar gutters and a Copper downspout. Beautiful porch we are quite proud of this one!
